A full day of focused learning exploring the art of creating intricate half-profile figures in henna.

Through technical teaching and guided practice, we will break down the structure, proportions, and details required to create both male and female half-profile portraits. The second half of the day will focus on refining these designs through intricate elements such as jewellery detailing and turban design, helping you develop a deeper understanding of portrait composition and detailing.

This class is designed for intermediate to advanced henna artists who have confidence with henna application and design fundamentals. The focus of the day will be on developing portrait techniques, refining details, and exploring advanced application methods rather than focusing on the initial stages of learning henna design.

A catered Indian lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

We offer Henna (mehndi) courses and classes to students of all capabilities. The approach to teaching is technique based in order for a student to understand theories to then go off and explore your own visual identity.

1-1 WORKSHOPS

We offer 1-1 workshops to beginners and artists who are wanting to target areas of concern and learn.

  • These classes will teach you core techniques that can be applied to your work in-order to grow independently vs traditional teaching methods of copying. This approach to learning equips you to think like an artist as you to break down designs into its techniques independently.

  • They aim to cover concerns and issues you have with you work. Therefore, the content is highly specific to your needs so please be specific when contacting me regarding what you want out of the workshop.

  • Online workshops start from £175 per workshop (global).

    In person workshops start from £300 per workshop (UK residents only).
