RANGREET
रंगरीत
A play on colours.
Rose petals fall like whispered dreams,
Soft waves drifting from silken skies.
Jasmine trails from golden beams,
Fragrance curling where silence lies.
Tuberose leans with moonlit grace,
Banana leaves, a verdant floor—
A sacred stage, a scented place
Where joy arrives and sorrow is no more.
Kesar mangoes in bowls of brass,
Glowing like suns in twilight’s hand.
Custard apples with freckled glass,
Pineapples stand with golden strands.
Oranges stacked like marigold fire,
Pomegranates split with ruby sighs—
Each fruit a note in love’s desire,
Each colour a prayer beneath the skies.
And she—she moves like monsoon rain,
In a sari of purple dusk and flame.
Pink roses bloom in her dark braid’s chain,
And beauty bows when they speak her name.
Bangles chime like temple bells,
Her eyes hold verses yet untold.
In her presence, Rangreet swells—
A world reborn in hues of gold.
